What is the Pomodoro Technique?

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that breaks work into focused intervals — typically 25 minutes — followed by a short 5-minute break. After 4 sessions, you earn a longer 30-minute break to fully recharge. It's one of the most effective ways to fight procrastination and maintain deep focus throughout the day.

How to use this timer

Set your focus and break durations in the Settings panel, then press Start. The timer tracks your sessions automatically — short break after each one, long break after every 4. Enable sound alerts to get notified when each session ends. Your daily stats (pomodoros completed, total focus time, best streak) are saved locally in your browser, no account needed.
